Tong torque and Tong line tension indication system
Yao group's hoist line tension and tong torque system is designed to provide accurate recharge and excavation torque readings to reduce the failure of Drill Collars and tool joints.
These systems indicate the torque applied to the drill pipe, drill collar, ferrule, and casing when making the joint. This is very important to reduce the failure of drill collars and tool joints caused by improper replenishment. Each tong system consists of a hydraulic load cell, shackle (on tension type models), hose assembly, 6-inch filling gauge with damper assembly, mounted instrument bracket (except panel mounted version), and manual Pump and (1) QT The instrument fluid consists of a charging kit. Both types of Tong systems offer imperial, metric or double scale capacity, with a straight-line pull of up to 30000 pounds. There are two types of systems available:
Universal hook wire drawing series
Indicates the composition or breakthrough torque (in pounds) of the tool joint, drill collar and drill string assembly. This is very useful in applications where users want to use systems with pliers handles of different lengths. To obtain a foot pound equal to the pound reading on the indicator, the operator simply multiplies the pound reading of the indicator by the length of the tong handle he is using in feet, which will get his foot pound equivalent.

Through torque (joint torque) series
Represents the torque (in feet and pounds) applied to each joint when running a pipe or casing with a power tong. These systems can be used for power tongs of specific brands and models, and are equipped with compression or tension load cells.
